Once upon a time, I taught myself the html Document Object Model (DOM) along with how to manipulate it with javascript. During that initial time, I made a game – Tetris. It worked and it was coded horribly, but it was great that I could actually make it. It also taught me a lot more about javascript and about the DOM, so I made a second version. The second version was slightly cleaner and performed a bit better (but is still crap). Still, it was another stepping stone in my learning and I'm proud to call it mine, despise the sloppiness. Sadly, the music no longer works and it hasn't been updated in a near-decade.
